Plumber Servicing the Perth Hills

Based in the Perth Hills, AH Plumbing and Gas services the Hills and surrounding suburbs, with the flexibility to travel further when required. Wherever you need us, we'll do our best to get there.

Perth Hills Suburbs We Cover

One local plumber, from Kalamunda through to the Wheatbelt. Find your suburb below.

City of Kalamunda

Andrew's home patch. Older brick-and-tile homes, steep blocks and plenty of tree roots looking for a sewer line.

Shire of Mundaring

Bush blocks, rainwater tanks, bore pumps and LPG bottles. Properties out here need a plumber who knows them.

City of Swan & Bassendean

Midland through to the Swan Valley, from older Guildford homes to newer estates in Ellenbrook and Aveley.

Southern Hills

The southern end of the Hills. Larger rural blocks, septic systems and long service runs.

Wheatbelt and Beyond

Andrew heads out past the Hills when the job suits it, so if you're further east or north it's worth a call rather than an assumption.

Don't See Your Suburb? Call Anyway

The suburb lists above cover where Andrew works most weeks, not a boundary he won't cross. If your place isn't on there, ring him and ask. It takes one phone call to find out, and he'd rather tell you either way than have you keep scrolling.

From Kalamunda and Mundaring through to Midland and the Swan Valley.

What Changes From One End of the Hills to the Other

Gas Supply

Mains gas runs through the lower suburbs but a lot of the Hills doesn't have it, which means bottled LPG. That changes what a hot water swap or a cooktop install actually involves, and it can vary block by block rather than suburb by suburb, so Andrew checks what's connected before he quotes.

Sewer or Septic

Properties further out still run on septic systems and leach drains rather than mains sewer. Andrew services those alongside everyday drain work, including the digging when it's needed.

Older Housing Stock

Older Hills properties tend to come with older pipework and a history of previous repairs, so the first job is working out what's actually there before recommending a fix.

Service Area Questions, Answered

Quite possibly. The list covers the areas Andrew works in regularly, but it’s not a fence. Give him a call and he’ll tell you straight, and if it really is out of range he’ll point you toward someone who can help.
Andrew quotes the job before he starts, and whatever travel is involved is already in that number. No separate distance surcharge appearing on the invoice afterwards.
It depends on what’s already booked in that week rather than how far the drive is. Call and Andrew will give you a real timeframe rather than a vague promise.
Not currently, bookings run Monday to Friday. Andrew’s found that keeping to set hours means each job gets the time it needs rather than being rushed. If you’re worried something might get worse overnight, mention it when you call and he’ll talk you through what to do in the meantime.
Yes. Plumbing Licence 8282, Gas Licence 13486 and Backflow Licence 2281, all through Building and Energy WA, and they apply wherever the job is. If a job crosses over between plumbing, gas and hot water, Andrew can usually sort the lot in one visit.
